What is "Scrap that Poetry?"

With a love of poetry since a young age, a husband who writes beautiful poetry and being a teacher who loves to read, combine all that with my love of scrapbooking and you have the birth of a new Challenge Blog.

Scrap That Poetry blog will have 2 challenges a month based on poetry.
(1st and 15th of the month)
The first challenge will begin on October 1st.
Scrappers will use a word or verse of poetry for inspiration in their layouts.
I am currently looking for 5 design team members and monthly guest designers.
If you are interested in becoming a design team member or guest designer, please send me:
~2 of your favorite layouts exemplifying your scrapbook style (do not need to be recent)
~tell me about yourself (who you are, what you love to do, why you would like to join our challenge blog, any other blogs your design for)
~A link to your blog or online gallery (you do not need to have a blog to apply)
~Your favorite poem and why
~The term will be for 4 months- October 2009 thru January 2010
~Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
~Applications are open to everyone. International applicants are welcome!
~Previous Design Team experience is not required.
I am taking applications between today and September 18th.
Designers will be announced on September 20th.
Requirements:
Layout created for the upcoming challenge (due by the 10th and 25th of the month)
Participate in choosing a winner for the challenge.
Making comments on participants blogs or galleries

This is a non profit blog and will not be giving out prizes unless we get donations.
Design Team members will not receive any compensation for their work.
1st Challenge will be listed on October 1st.
